Margith A. Strand's Dissertation at Fielding Graduate University: Discourse Analysis and Contexual Theory in Distance Education

I am listing the course of my Dissertation track of thought processes:

The title of the Dissertation is proposed to be as: Discourse Analysis and Contexual Theory in Distance Education.

Discourse Analysis has the following components which will be used to investigate the area of empirical and experential applications in Distance Learning.

Intertexuality, Register Theory, Text Semantics, Discursive Formation, Cohesion Analysis, Narrative Analysis and Theme-Rheme Analysis.

I propose to use the Atlas.ti software method to analyze data as given in the discussion thread sections of Science and General Education courses as collected during a period of 4 years from a proprietary Higher Education college of Distance Learning.
